Why hips and core are important for successful performance?


Hips and core strength and flexibility is though as focal points of successful performance.  And here are the whys.

Reasons: 

  • Carries most of the weight.
  • Important source of power and force.
  • Many associated muscles which relies on athletic movements.
  • Causes of injuries.

Training:

  • Work together the muscles and don't isolate glutes and quads.  i.e.) Leg raises, bridges, and squats.
  • Bird dog.
  • Foam roller and loosen up hip flexor.
